I currently work for a company called Rail Plus in Melbourne and each day I help agents & members of the public plan and book their international rail travel. & more often than not its people purchasing Eurail (Interrail) passes and planning their routes for the summer exploring Europe.
I did one of these trips 3 years ago and each day at work when i'm booking someones train from Paris to Geneva or Rome to Naples, it makes me look back at my trip and wish I had started this blog back then so I could have written up all the details from each train & city I visited. Now, with age, my memory isn't as good so I can't recall every last detail of the trip ;) but what I do know is that it was a fantastic trip and one that has me hungry for more travel.
My sister and I opted for the 22 days continuous global pass & travelled to a whopping 12 countries & 17 cities & towns over a 4 week period :-
Spain, France, Switzerland, Australia, Italy, Vatican City, Slovenia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany & Netherlands
Barcelona, Paris, Geneva, Milan, Pisa, Rome, Naples, Venice, Ljubljana, Lake Bled, Vienna, Budapest, Prague, Krakow, Berlin, Amsterdam.
Me being me, planned every last detail months in advance down to the exact train schedule we needed to stick by to make sure we fitted our very full & ambitious itinerary in!
Since working for Rail Plus my bucket list for Europe has grown massively & each day as I book in someones trip aboard the Glacier Express or on the Jungfraujoch trip I am more and more determined to make those trips myself one day!

I won't lie, this post isn't going to go into detail about each place, its more of a photo diary just looking back at the trip and hopefully inspiring you to hop on over to Europe and make your own train-travel adventures come true.
I absolutely loved travelling round Europe by rail and now that I work in the industry have learnt so much more about it & some tips & tricks to planning, booking & making your Eurail trip bloody fantastic! #comingsoon
